Centro Studi et Iniziative Europeo (CE.S.I.E.) was founded in 2001, inspired by the social, cultural and political work of Danilo Dolci. The organization works towards the promotion of cultural, educational, scientific and economic development at both local and international levels through the employment of innovative and participative tools and methodologies.
Objectives:
• Promote intercultural development;
• Act as a bridge between research and the application of knowledge;
• Apply reciprocal communication methods in order to consolidate peace and democracy;
• Abolish all forms of discrimination thus favouring social inclusion and equal opportunities;
• Promote a responsible global awareness through the application of human rights;
• Develop social, cultural, economic and scientific relationships at local and international levels;
• Facilitate the growth of people and organizations, with particular attention to youth, through bottom-up approaches.
