SK - Orava ADE
Orava Association for Democratic Education is a membership directed, non-profit, non-governmental professional organization established in 1994 serving the professional development needs of Slovak educators.
The association works to improve education in Slovakia by supporting the broader educational community of teachers, parents, school administrators, university faculty, Ministry of Education leaders, interested community leaders and students. The Orava Association supports cooperation and communication between educators, non-governmental and governmental educational institutions through publications, conferences, seminars or round table discussions.
The Association has four established offices in Bratislava, Dolny Kubin, Topolcany, and Presov and a wide network of about 300 individual and institutional members. It is a member of the RWCT International Consortium. Within the structures of the association operates the Center for Educational Policy, the member of the NEPC.
