WP5 - Workshop for adult educators
Briefly about this work-package
This work-package includes the exploitation of the collection of best practices in the form of a workshop to be organized in the second project meeting to take place in Palermo, Italy, for adult educators of the partner organizations and other adult educators. It is therefore connected to work-package 2 and it feeds into work-package 6, in that it provided the fundament for the development of innovative practices.
Deliverables
- Workshop for adult educators; the workshop included 4 training sessions to demonstrate the good practices identified in work-package 2 and 4 reflections sessions to give participants the opportunity to reflect on the demonstrated training methodology. The participants were adult educators (34 in all) from both the partner organizations and other adult educator organizations. The workshop was part of the second project meeting, and it consisted of 8 sessions to familiarize the participants with some of the good practices collected from 8 EU Member States and Switzerland.
The Workshop and Partnership meeting in Palermo
The second project meeting took place in Palermo, Italy, 5 – 8 September 2010. The project meeting aimed to disseminate the best practices that were collected by developing WP2 and to exploit the findings of the research on training methodologies and learning techniques in adult education that was carried out.
The agenda of the meeting included the Workshop for adult educators and working sessions for the project’s staff.
The Workshop for adult educators was attended by 34 adult educators from both partner organizations and other adult education providers, and consisted of 4 training sessions to demonstrate some of the good practices identified in WP2 followed each by a reflection session.
